Hi Jolene! thank you for the kind comments. All I used to achieve the look was split toning in Lightroom 3. Instead of adjusting highlights and lowlights, I added different colors. So in this photo the highlights are yellow instead of white and lowlights are dark green instead of black,giving it the slightly odd processed look. The rest is only contrast adjustment and noise reduction.
Aha… bird nests are supposed to be lucky! If they are not messy of course… 😀 have fun with your little pair of birdies!
